These are the various projects I have done since the beginning of this site. The projects listed below are either in development, constantly updated, or complete. All of them provide the name, a short description, and a button that directs you to a more detailed page exclusively about the project. This page includes things such as a more detailed description, progress, links, parts, pictures and videos, and more.
Skele-Dropper V2
After the first version of the Skele-Dropper's failure, I decided to revive it learning from the previous failures. The Skele-Dropper is a custom made halloween decoration that will drop a skeleton from a tree, flash strobe lights, play a loud screaming sound, and record a video, triggered through a web interface on any mobile device.
V1 Projects
These projects were made before 9/2/2024 and will include less documentation then recent projects.
FDM
After viewing the price of the Coacoa Press, I set out to create my own 3D printer that prints in food but for only $250, creating the FDM (Food Depositing Manufacturing). I used a four year old Ender 3 as the base, and modified the exrusion mechanism to pump any viscous food through a tube, into the nozzle by a 150Ml syringe mounted at the top.
Iron Man Helmet
Inspired by many online engineers, I will be working on my own version of a full Iron Man suit with features like a motorized helmet, a real Javis AI, and more.
Inverter
The Inverter is our team's submission for the 2023-24 FTC competition, representing Pearagon. Comprising nine dedicated members, our team collaborates with Pearadox, the high school team, receiving valuable support twice a week.
Skele-Dropper
The Skele-Dropper is a custom made Halloween decoration. It is set up in a tree or high place with a skeleton hanging from it. It then drops while playing a screaming sound effect from its mouth, once triggered by any mobile device.
Justinhirsh.com
This is the website you are on! It was founded in February 2023 and is constantly updated. It is dedicated to documenting my projects, providing downloads to my more well-known programs, and more.
Rc Nerf Gun
This is my first ever real electrical project, where I take an old Nerf gun that was not working and modify it to be controlled by a keyfob.
PortaGamer
This was my submission for the Houston Young Inventors Showcase. The PortaGamer is a miniature gaming console that is made to be low-priced yet still high-quality to allow less fortunate youths to be able to learn the necessary skill of coding.
Upcoming
These are some projects that I want to do but am either currently working on another project or don't have the time or money to start. These projects may come and go from the site as I come up with new ideas and decide against others. Some of these projects do not have a name yet due to the fact that they are still concepts and hypotheticals.
JHRSS
The JHRSS (Justin Hirsh Room Security System) is a number of many security devices implemented in my room. It is made to deter unwanted guests and experiment with pnematics, live streaming, and cross-device communication. It will include a security camera, a lazer break beam at the door, a pneumatic net cannon, and, from my previous project, a remote-controlled Nerf blaster, with more to come in the future.
Shin Kicker
After being inspired by notable Ant-Weight Battlebots such as Cheesecake, Mini Mulcher, and Taco Tuesday, I have decided to impliment my knowledge in Artificial intelegance to create the first A.I powered Battlebot. Shin-Kicker will have a rotating top inspired by the Battlebot, Gigabyte.
